Terms of service

1. Service

ObjectBasin GmbH ("we") provides object storage and delivery endpoints ("the Service"). Accounts are provisioned per organisation; storage quota and request allowances are stated on the pricing page and in your order confirmation.

2. Acceptable use

The Service may not be used to store or distribute material that is unlawful in the jurisdiction of the region holding the data, nor to attack, probe or overload systems you do not own. Request patterns that degrade shared nodes may be rate-limited or throttled after notice.

3. Data and backups

You retain all rights to stored objects. We replicate each object three times within its region and back up metadata hourly. An independent copy of critical data remains your responsibility.

4. Fees and invoicing

Storage is metered hourly, requests monthly. Invoices are issued monthly and are payable within 14 days. Accounts unpaid 30 days after the due date may be suspended; data is retained for 30 days after suspension and then deleted.

5. Availability

We target 99.9% monthly availability per region measured on the API endpoints. Service credits for verified downtime are described in your order confirmation.

6. Support

Response targets are stated per plan: four business hours on Team, one hour on Scale. Support is provided in English, German and Russian.

7. Termination

Either party may terminate with 30 days written notice. On termination data remains available for export for 14 days, after which it is deleted from all replicas.

8. Liability

Liability is limited to the fees paid in the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit or data where an independent copy was not maintained.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by German law. Place of jurisdiction is Frankfurt am Main.
