How metering works

FAQ
Do I pay for deleted data?
No. Counters are sampled hourly; a deleted object stops being billed at the next sample.
What counts as one request?
Any authenticated or signed HTTP call, including range GETs and multipart part uploads. Health checks are free.
Can I get invoicing and a DPA?
Yes — write to sales@objectbasin.com and we will send both, plus a signed sub-processor list.
Is there a free tier?
250 GB for 14 days on signup, no card. After that the Starter plan applies.
Annual commitment?
Scale plan on annual terms is 15% cheaper and can be paid by invoice.
What if I exceed the plan?
Nothing breaks: usage continues and overage is billed at the end of the month.
